AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—Jeff Hajner and Matt Fairchild each scored two goals as the Air Force Falcons won their 11th straight game, beating Sacred Heart 8-1 on Friday night.

Air Force remains the only unbeaten and untied team in the nation, improving to 11-0 overall and 9-0 in the Atlantic Hockey Association.

The win comes a day after Air Force coach Frank Serratore agreed to a five-year deal to remain with the Falcons through the 2012-13 season. He’s led the team to back-to-back AHA championships.

Scott Kozlak, Brent Olson, Michael Mayra and Sean Bertsch also scored for the Falcons (11-0, 9-0 AHA).

Derrick Burnett finished with three assists while Andrew Volkening made 18 saves. Fairchild also added two assists, along with Greg Flynn and Scott Mathis.

Corey Laurysen scored the lone goal for Sacred Heart (2-7-2, 2-5-2).

The two teams conclude a two-game league series on Saturday.
