Getting your player ready...

Still in first:

As dismal as the day was, Denver remains in first place in the AFC West by two games over San Diego.

Hillis still playing well:

Rookie Peyton Hillis started at fullback but was the primary ball carrier. He had 96 total yards — 74 rushing, 22 receiving — and scored Denver’s only touchdown.

Getting healthy:

Cornerback Champ Bailey and running back Selvin Young likely will be back next week against the Jets, and linebackers D.J. Williams and Nate Webster and safety Marlon McCree all should return a week after that.
