T.O. returns to spotlight
Terrell Owens: The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, left, rang up 213 yards against the San Francisco 49ers in the Cowboys’ 35-22 victory. Owens’ total was the second-most of his career, behind the 283 yards he had in a 2000 game in which he caught an NFL-record 20 passes, back when he played for the 49ers. The total is fifth-best in Cowboys history and the most in the NFL since Philadelphia’s Kevin Curtis had 221 in September 2007.
Ed Reed: Ravens safety returned an interception by the Eagles’ Kevin Kolb an NFL-record 108 yards for a TD in Baltimore’s 36-7 win.
Matt Cassel: New England quarterback became the fifth quarterback to throw for 400 yards in consecutive games, joining Dan Fouts, Dan Marino, Phil Simms and Billy Volek.
