OFFENSE
F After two stellar games, Jay Cutler regressed, with two turnovers and numerous missed connections with his wide receivers. The Broncos repeatedly tried to go deep but couldn’t shake the Raiders’ defensive backs.
DEFENSE
D The defense played well in the first half, but everything changed in the second half, and somehow the defense managed to make a bad Oakland offense look good. The Broncos did not sack JaMarcus Russell and did not force any turnovers.
SPECIAL TEAMS
F A very bad day all-around as Matt Prater missed two field goals and the Raiders returned a punt for a touchdown.
COACHING
C Denver’s defensive game plan worked for 30 minutes but failed in the second half. Offensively, the team tried to take advantage of man coverage, but Cutler and the receivers couldn’t capitalize.
OVERALL
F The team’s third consecutive home loss left fans — those few who remained — booing. There are few, if any, positives to take away from this game for the Broncos.
