CENTENNIAL, Colo.—Two suspects in a shooting that wounded a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy have been charged with more than 120 counts each following an alleged monthlong crime spree.
Nineteen-year-olds Brandin Kreuzer of Sedalia and Taylor Moudy of Castle Rock waived a formal reading of the charges during an appearance in a Castle Rock courtroom Monday. The charges range from reckless endangerment to attempted first-degree murder of a peace officer.
A deputy was wounded in the arm in a shooting June 28, the last day of the alleged spree. He was treated and released at a hospital.
Kreuzer and Moudy are also charged in an armed robbery as well as several burglaries and auto thefts.
Both remain in custody, with Kreuzer’s bond set at $3 million and Moudy’s at $2 million.
