An irate passenger got off a public bus in east Denver Wednesday afternoon, pulled out a pistol, took aim and fired at the bus as it drove away.
He missed.
Denver police were still looking for the man Wednesday night. A description had not yet been released.
Regional Transportation District spokesman Scott Reed said the gunfire happened at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Dahlia Street about 6:30 p.m.
The man had been riding on the Route 43 bus, which traverses MLK and other routes between Downing Street in downtown Denver and Green Valley Ranch, Reed said.
