CHAMP HASN’T GONE FULL SPEED, BUT SHOULD PLAY

The Broncos have officially listed four players as questionable for today’s game at the Jets, including receiver Eddie Royal — also the team’s main kick returner — and cornerback Champ Bailey.

Royal has been limited in practice all week with what the team is calling a toe injury. “I’m making progress every day,” Royal said.

Bailey, who has not played since partially tearing his groin Oct. 20 against New England, has yet to test it at full speed but is likely to play.

The other players listed as questionable are middle linebacker Nate Webster and running back Selvin Young. Neither has played since Nov. 6 at Cleveland.

Linebacker D.J. Williams returned to practice this week but is doubtful, and safety Marlon McCree is definitely out.

“This late in the season, everyone’s got injuries they’re dealing with,” Royal said. “That’s just life in the NFL.”

Kickoff changed.

The NFL has moved kickoff time for the Broncos game at Carolina on Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. MST.

This marks the second time the league has chosen to move Denver’s game into a better time slot. Today’s game at the Jets was also pushed to the later afternoon start.

Footnotes.

Oakland defensive tackle Gerard Warren — a former Bronco — was fined $5,000 for a late hit on Denver quarterback Jay Cutler. . . . Denver offensive lineman Ben Hamilton was not fined for a chop block.
