Two lanes of northbound Interstate 25 through Broomfield were closed this morning after a rollover accident that spilled hazardous materials onto the roadway.
The accident happened about 8 a.m., North Metro Fire Rescue said in a news release. The driver was not hurt, but the truck was leaking fluids including:
North Metro Fire asked Broomfield Health and Human Services “to oversee proper cleanup of the fluids to reduce environmental impact.”
The interstate has completely reopened.
