On the same day that the new University of Wyoming football coach met with reporters, he found out he gets to play an old friend — Nebraska.
The Cowboys announced a three-game series with the Huskers starting in 2011, when Nebraska plays in Laramie for the first time. The Cowboys go to Lincoln in 2013 and 2016.
This comes on top of the three-game series the Cowboys agreed to this year with Texas, which starts next season with the Longhorns at War Memorial Stadium. The Cowboys also play at Colorado next season.
FYI, Christensen’s record against those three during his eight seasons as an assistant at Missouri: 8-12. But, hey, he’s 5-2 in the past three seasons.
