• Because of incorrect information provided by the Colorado State Patrol, the railroad involved in a train-truck collision Wednesday night in Adams County was incorrectly identified in a photo caption on Page 4B on Thursday. The train belonged to Rock Island Railroad.

• Because of an editing error, the party affiliation of Delta County Commissioner Wayne Wolf, a candidate for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District seat in last month’s election, was incorrect in a Page 6A story Thursday. Wolf is a Republican.

• A brief item from 9News on Page 2B on Thursday incorrectly stated that Marine Lance Cpl. Lance Hering of Boulder had been sentenced to 30 days in the brig and would be discharged for desertion and contempt.

While plea negotiations between Hering and the Marines are underway, no agreement has been reached, and Hering remains in custody awaiting a possible court-martial.

The Denver Post will correct errors in its news columns. If you find a problem with a story — an error of fact or a point requiring clarification — please call 303-954-1201.
