Authorities have named the six Chadron State College wrestlers who were injured when their sport-utility vehicle swerved off Interstate 25 Wednesday night near the Wyoming border.

The injuries included one wrestler from Colorado, J.J. Pursley, a junior from Brush, who remains in serious condition at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.

Teammate Willy Jones of Chadron, Neb., also is in serious condition, according to the northwest Nebraska college.

Ty Brown of Crawford, Neb., Brent Hunter of Rushville, Neb., Max Baker of Elk Grove, Calif., and assistant coach Mark Pfeifer were listed in good condition at the hospital. Student assistant coach Tony Arena of Kelsey, Calif, was treated for minor injuries at the crash site.

The school’s nine-passenger Ford Excursion was on its way to Denver International Airport, so the team could catch a flight to Las Vegas, Nev., for a weekend tournament.
