Loveland police are looking for a registered sex offender who failed to show up for sentencing on unrelated robbery and conspiracy charges.
Marvin Louis Johnson, 45, had pleaded guilty to conspiracy in a staged robbery at Cash Express in Loveland, where he worked at the time of the theft in December 2006.
Johnson had told police he was tied up at gunpoint when he was robbed by a stranger. Johnson’s wife later told police her husband and Troy White, 38, plotted the robbery of about $7,000.
White was later arrested in Alaska.
Johnson failed to appear at his sentencing last month, where he faced a sentence of three years in state prison and two years on parole.
Johnson, who sometimes used the alian Samuel Francis Steiner, drives a black 1996 Ford F-150. His last known residence was in 224 Seward St. in Lyons.
Details about his earlier sex offenses were not available from the state sex offender database.
