ASPEN, Colo.—An Aspen Skiing Co. official says competitive skiers Kiffor Berg and Ted Davenport were among people caught skiing on closed terrain on Aspen Mountain this week.

General manager of mountain operations Rich Burkley says they were among 11 people who had their season ski passes revoked Monday for poaching the powder. All later had their passes returned to them, but Burkley says that won’t be the case once the season is in full swing.

He says snow riders on closed terrain pose safety risks.
