A 14-year-old boy struck by a car in Parker on Saturday night died shortly after arriving at a local hospital, a spokeswoman for the Parker Police Department said.
“I believe he passed away around 10:30 last night,” said spokeswoman Sara Walla.
The boy was taken to a hospital after he walked from a median across Hilltop Road and Hidden River Lane after 6 p.m.
The driver who struck the child was interviewed at the scene. No drugs or alcohol are suspected in the incident, Walla said.
The accident is under investigation.
