Four people were injured last night after a car missed a curve on a Beaver Creek road and struck a tree.
Injured in the accident on Village Road were the driver, Justin M. Cody, 32, and Lidia B. Patrick, 28, and Joshua Cook, 30, all of Avon, and Chance Humphrey, 24, of Eagle-Vail.
Cody’s northbound 1998 Honda Civic ran across the southbound lanes before leaving the road and traveling 79 feet to hit the tree, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Investigators suspect alcohol and excessive speed may have led to the accident at 11:30 p.m.
All four were taken to Vail Valley Medical Center.
