Add another Denver name to the list of prominent media types laid off.
Kevin Corke, one-time KUSA reporter, was part of the staff cut from NBC’s Washington bureau today.
Corke left KUSA to work for ESPN as an anchor of “Sports Center,” and from there rose to prominence as a correspondent for NBC News. He was on his way up, having been named Sunday White House correspondent last year. Corke played a large role in the network’s coverage of the massacre at Virginia Tech.
