Denver police Officers Tab Davis and John Robledo were honored Tuesday for their actions in saving the life of an 8-year-old shooting victim.
Sierra Moore was an unintended victim who might have died if not for the officers’ efforts to start CPR.
“My first reaction was I had to do something, and I knew I had to provide first aid,” Robledo said.
Davis and Robledo were given the Life Saving Award during the Denver Police Department’s quarterly awards ceremony at Stapleton.
A man and woman were arrested after the June shooting.
