ATLANTA — Delta Air Lines said Tuesday it is getting a $1 billion boost following a credit-card agreement it has reached with American Express. The agreement is a multiyear extension of their existing partnership. Delta said it expects to receive an additional $1 billion from contract improvements through 2010 and to end 2009 with roughly $7.5 billion in unrestricted liquidity.
