It’s almost hard to do in college football these days — not make it to a bowl. Of the 119 teams eligible in the top division, 68 are going to a game somewhere, somehow. That leaves 51 teams back on campus. Even with so many spots, four bowl-eligible, 6-6 teams were left out: Arkansas State, Bowling Green, Louisiana-Lafayette and San Jose State. So for some of us fortunate enough to be living on the Front Range, that makes the mediocre seasons of Colorado (5-7) and Wyoming (4-8) something to raise a cup of nog to and give thanks we don’t have another obligation to burden our holidays.
