CHICAGO — United Airlines parent UAL Corp. raised $150 million by selling 15 Boeing Co. 757 aircraft that it will lease back, the latest effort to generate cash as falling fuel prices force it to post collateral on purchase contracts.
The planes were sold to East Shore Aircraft LLC, a unit of Wayzata Opportunities Fund II LP, UAL said.
