TRONA, Calif. — A pair of small earthquakes hit an inland area of Southern California on Tuesday, but no injuries or damage were reported.

The U.S. Geological Survey said a 2.5-magnitude quake hit San Bernardino County about 15 miles northeast of Trona around 4:30 p.m. Pacific time Tuesday. A 3.6-magnitude quake hit a minute later at Devore about 60 miles east of Los Angeles, 125 miles south of Trona.
