Scott Lee Kimball, the man who state and federal investigators believe is a serial killer, is in talks to get a plea bargain.
The deal is not signed, but multiple sources have told 9News that Kimball, 42, likely will plead guilty and admit to playing a part in the murder of one of four missing people. Leann Emry, Kaysi McLeod, Jennifer Marcum and Terry Kimball were all last seen or thought to be with Scott Kimball in 2003 and 2004.
In the plea deal, Kimball will also lead investigators to at least two victims’ bodies, according to sources. McLeod’s partial remains were recovered in a remote area of Jackson County this summer.
