Getting your player ready...

Former University of Denver attackman Ryan Zordani was one of three former Pioneers selected by the Denver Outlaws in Wednesday’s Major League Lacrosse supplemental draft. The Outlaws drafted seven players total.

Zordani, a Heritage High School graduate, made the Outlaws’ practice squad last summer as a rookie. Because he was not among the 23 Outlaws shielded from the draft, he could have been picked by other teams if Denver had not claimed him in the third round.

The Outlaws also selected Matt Scanlon, a defenseman from Fairfield, in the first round; Yale attackman Tyler Casertano in the second round; fourth-round pick Brett Hamilton-Koll, a DU midfielder and Fort Collins High School graduate; fifth-rounder Jason Rostan, a midfielder from Hampden-Sydney; Jon Paulson, a DU attackman, in the sixth round; and Kent Denver graduate Alex Pritzlaff, a defenseman from Hampden-Sydney, in the seventh round.
