PUEBLO, Colo.—A 39-year-old Pueblo man hospitalized since Nov. 15 after authorities say he and his brother were beaten and robbed has died.

Pueblo County Coroner James Kramer says an autopsy for Michael Vigil is scheduled for Thursday.

Kramer says Vigil died from “multiple trauma” early Wednesday at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo.

Vigil’s brother, Tony Vigil, was treated and released the day of the attack.

Police say the brothers were assaulted by three men on Nov. 15 near a Pueblo intersection.

Police are still trying to identify the suspects, along with a woman who used Michael Vigil’s food stamp card at a Belmont convenience store the day after the attack.
