Worried about all that paper piling up, Jocelyn Child’s eighth-grade daughter Lyzi was eager to invent a greener way to wrap gifts. So a year ago, Lyziwraps were born. In lustrous dupioni silk, sporty corduroy or sturdy and washable nylon or oilcloth, the wraps come in numerous shapes, sizes and color combinations and have ties that can be adjusted to conform to the shape of the gift.
