CLEMSON, S.C.—Clemson’s new coach Dabo Swinney has hired three new members of his football staff.

Swinney said Friday that Charlie Harbison will coach defensive backs, while Danny Pearman will coach tackles and tight ends. Woody McCorvey will serve as a football administrator.

The three already have ties to both Clemson and Swinney.

Harbison was a Clemson assistant from 1995-97, and McCorvey was on the Clemson staff of former coach Danny Ford in the 1980s. Pearman was a former tight end for the Tigers.

Harbison and Pearman were on Alabama’s staff during Swinney’s time there. McCorvey was the receivers coach when Swinney was a walk-on wideout for the Crimson Tide.

The Tigers will take on Nebraska in the Gator Bowl on Jan. 1.
