A Frontier Airlines plane landed safely tonight at Denver International Airport after pilots reported hydraulic problems with its nose gear.
The flight originated in San Francisco with Denver as its destination.
Fire trucks were scrambled at 6:15 p.m., to runway 16-R, which is one of the airport’s longest runways at 16,000 feet. Putting fire trucks near the runway is routine when planes report problems, said airport spokeswoman Erica Gingerich.
The plane landed safely at 6:34 p.m., according to the Denver Fire Department. It was towed to the gate by airport personnel.
A Frontier spokesperson could not be reached.
