CLEMSON, S.C.—Clemson backup linebacker Stanley Hunter will miss a few practices because of a strained knee.
A statement from the school after Saturday’s practice says Hunter’s injury is not thought to be serious.
The freshman has been the backup middle linebacker to starter Brandon Maye. Hunter is ninth on the team with 37 tackles.
The injury is not expected to keep Hunter from the Gator Bowl on Jan. 1 when the Tigers take on Nebraska.
