FABER, Va. — A Virginia man and his teenage daughter killed in the Mumbai terrorist attacks are remembered as loving, peaceful spirits by the meditation community where they lived.
About 200 people attended a memorial service Sunday for Alan Scherr and his 13-year- old daughter, Naomi.
The service was held at Synchronicity Foundation, a meditation community in rural Virginia where the Scherrs had lived for 11 years.
The two were in India with several others from the group when they were killed Nov. 26 at the Oberoi Hotel.
