OK, perhaps the crafty 46-year-old left-hander won’t play in five decades like the Cuban outfielder did, but it sure feels that way. On Monday, Moyer, who went 16-7 with a 3.71 ERA in 33 starts last season, signed a contract to remain with the Philadelphia Phillies for not one but two more years, possibly making him the oldest player to receive a guaranteed multiyear contract. “I’m sure if you ask Jamie, he’ll say that he will play out a few more contracts,” general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said.
