As much as we loathe to shovel the sidewalks in front of our homes, we actually enjoyed the drifts of entries to The Denver Post $25 Haiku Contest exploring the notion of snow. In the end, we determined this verse by Charles Monahan of Lakewood was like no other:
snow is like dreaming
the dancing flakes of winter
falling on your mind.
