AMERICAN GEOPHYSICAL UNION: Vijay K. Gupta, a professor of civil engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder and a fellow of the university’s Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences, will receive the 2008 Robert E. Horton Medal. The Horton Medal is the AGU’s highest international award for outstanding contributions to the geophysical aspects of hydrology.
