A man who was fatally stabbed in west Denver has been identified by authorities.
The body of Jerry Baca, 40, was found Wednesday morning at the front gate of an apartment building at 1465 Wolff St.
The Denver Medical Examiner’s Office identified Baca today and has ruled his death a homicide.
On the morning the body was found, police said the victim appeared to have been stabbed.
A passerby alerted police after he saw the body lying in the snow. The assailant remains at large. A suspect has not been identified, and police have not disclosed a motive.
