DENVER—An Arctic cold front has moved into Colorado, leaving most of the state in a deep freeze.

Highs are expected to reach only the teens and low 20s in several spots and lows could plunge below zero.

More frigid temperatures are forecast for Sunday.

A storm is expected to bring more than a foot of snow in parts of the northwest and central Colorado mountains Saturday. The Denver area could get a light dusting of snow.

The National Weather Service says light snow will continue over the north-central Colorado mountains through Saturday afternoon. Wind gusts up to 50 mph could cause problems with blowing and drifting snow.
