Getting your player ready...

Broncos offensive linemen Ryan Clady and Chris Kuper practiced Friday, but their playing status remains uncertain for the today’s game against the visiting Buffalo Bills.

Clady, a rookie left tackle, suffered an ankle injury late in last Sunday’s loss to Carolina.

“He practiced (Friday), was limited, looked good,” Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said. “Hopefully he’ll be able to go.”

Kuper has a broken bone in his left hand.

“He’s just going to have to handle the pain,” Shanahan said. “He’s used to playing with a cast on, that’s for sure. He’s a tough guy and I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t go the whole game.”

Kuper played with a broken bone in his right hand during training camp.

Shanahan said cornerback Champ Bailey (groin) and wide receiver Brandon Stokley (foot) will be re-evaluated after pregame drills today.

“(Bailey is) looking a little bit better (and) hopefully there is no setback, but we won’t know until game time,” Shanahan said.

“I wouldn’t say (I can do) everything,” Bailey said. “Most things. I’m not pushing through everything. I’m pretty confident I can do everything, but it’s hard to simulate a game in practice.”

Stokley is in the same position, but “I expect him to go,” Shanahan said.

Fullback update.

The Broncos went without a fullback at Carolina but that is expected to change today with the improved health of Spencer Larsen.

The rookie was unavailable last week because of a strained groin.

“I’m feeling much better,” Larsen said. “I should be ready to go.”

If Larsen is ready, then the Broncos might also give veteran fullback Andrew Pinnock his first game-day action with Denver.

“I’m hoping, but don’t know yet,” Pinnock said.

Forecast.

The forecast for today calls for partly sunny skies but cold temperatures, from the high teens to low 20s.

“I’m just going to wait for it,” Shanahan said. “You guys know better than that (about) Denver. It changes all the time.”
