Transportation officials have closed Loveland Pass following an accident this afternoon involving a semi tractor-trailer, authorities say.
Meantime, state officials reopened eastbound Interstate 70 in Vail after a multi-vehicle accident, authorities say.
The east-bound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours following that accident at about 1 p.m., said Jarrett Handy, a spokesman for the Colorado Department of Transportation.
