FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Colorado State University has named Rick Miranda to serve as its interim provost.

Miranda, dean of the school’s college of natural sciences, will move into the position after the holidays.

The provost post was formerly held by Tony Frank. However, Frank is now serving as the university’s interim president following the November resignation of Larry Penley.
