Santa will have a chance to shrink that holiday jelly belly and get a national championship training run in when the Pedal Power Snowshoe Adventure Series returns for its second race of the winter, the Paddy’s Eagle-Vail 5K/10K, on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The race takes place on a wooded, technical course with short, steep climbs and fast descents over natural snow conditions. The five-event charity series includes the Colorado state championship and the qualifying race for the U.S. Snowshoe Association national championships later this winter. Registration is $20 in advance, $25 on race day.
