For those who weren’t paying attention, this week includes the first lengthening days of the season, Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa, and so it seemed wise to consider the topic of lights for this week’s Denver Post $25 Haiku Contest. Lynn Skinner of Lakewood figured out what we were after:
