Southwest Airlines Co. has agreed to sell 10 Boeing Co. 737 jets and then lease the planes back.
Proceeds from selling the first five aircraft will be $175 million, Dallas-based Southwest said Tuesday in a regulatory filing. The airline said it expects the transaction for the second group of jets to be completed in the first quarter on similar terms.
