U.S. financial markets, banks, government offices and most businesses will be closed Thursday for the New Year’s holiday.
Forum on health care wants ideas
On Tuesday, the West Chamber Serving Jefferson County will host a community health-care forum to collect information and ideas to be presented to the Obama-Biden transition team. The meeting will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Sheraton Denver West Hotel, 360 Union Blvd. in Lakewood.
