Getting your player ready...

They say if you can walk, you can snowshoe. But first you have to learn to tie your shoelaces. Fortunately, Crescent Moon’s single-pull-loop adjustable binding captures and supports most foot sizes with one quick pull.

The walking part is simplified as well, with the Boulder company’s unique teardrop frame design leading to a natural stride and optimal flotation. The lightweight PVC-free decking material is durable enough to endure backcountry travel.

Crescent Moon’s Gold series fits a variety of sizes and weights, including the 8- by-27-inch recreation-oriented Gold Series 9 (MSRP: $240) and the backcountry-best Gold Series 10 (pictured, MSRP: $260), a 9-by-32-inch platform recommended for snowshoers and their gear up to 225 pounds.
