Former Regis star Diana Lopez, the only three-time league player of the year, was named the all-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference most valuable player Tuesday after the league selected its 100th anniversary team.

Lopez was named one of 12 players to the all-century team, by a vote of league schools. The team includes Annette Wiles, Fort Hays State; Tonya Stites, Mesa State; Debra Gilbert, Adams State; Amy Mohr, Fort Lewis; Jessica Kedrowski, Nebraska-Kearney; Tricia Lukawski, Chadron State; Stephanie Allen, Metro State; Tina Redmond, Colorado Christian; Pam DeCosta, Mesa State; Dominique Skeehan, Adams State; and Jennifer Warner, Nebraska-Kearney.

Former Nebraska-Kearney coach Amy Stephens (1992-2000) was named the team’s coach.

Quinnipiac holds off Air Force.

Quinnipiac built a 3-0 lead in the second period and held on for a 4-2 victory over No. 11 Air Force in the championship game of the UConn Classic in Storrs, Conn. Air Force (14-3-1) outshot Quinnipiac 31-16. And Jeff Hajner scored twice for the Falcons.
