Silver Planet, a Colorado Springs-based website for people ages 55 and over, was awarded a $10,000 matching grant from Rose Community Foundation as part of its Boomers Leading Change initiative. Through the grant, Silver Planet will use its online expertise in supporting the foundation’s initiative to expand opportunities in work, service and learning.
The Colorado Department of Agriculture has awarded 14 grants totaling more than $620,000 through the Advancing Colorado’s Renewable Energy program. The ACRE program encourages and promotes business projects that add value to agricultural products, as well as agricultural energy-related projects.
