A man driving a pickup truck who was shot and killed early Saturday in Denver has been identified by authorities.
Manuel M. Ornelas, 26, of Denver was fatally shot at about 2 a.m. as he drove a pickup truck near the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Alameda Avenue, Denver police said.
After the shooting, the truck crashed into a Walgreens store under construction.
Two passengers in the pickup, who have not been identified, were treated at Denver Health Medical Center for injuries and released.
Ornelas died at the scene.
The shooter remains at large. No suspect has been named in the case, and no arrest has been made, police said.
