DENVER—The wreckage of a Continental Airlines plane that crashed at Denver International Airport before Christmas is set to be moved.
The plane has been resting on its belly at the bottom of a ravine since Dec. 20, when it veered off a runway during takeoff. The National Transportation Safety Board said it planned to move the wreckage Friday to a secure location at the airport.
All passengers and crew members escaped the fiery crash. Thirty-eight people were injured, including the pilot, but all have been released from hospitals.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused Flight 1404 to Houston to crash.
