BROOMFIELD — A high-speed chase from Loveland to Broomfield reached speeds of 130 mph about 8:30 a.m. Thursday before a man and woman ditched the car and ran, according to the Colorado State Patrol. Two suspects were arrested.
The names and ages of the suspects have not been released. The woman was driving, said Trooper David Hall.
The car was going south on Interstate 25 at more 100 mph when it was spotted by a trooper near Colorado 160, Hall said. Broomfield and Westminster police and troopers tried to pull over the car, but the Acura sedan crashed near Lowell Boulevard.
