When and where will Mike Shanahan coach? If you saw his classy farewell address, and if Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys saw it, it is a no-brainer:
• He wants to coach a team with Super Bowl potential.
• He wants an owner who is as committed to win it all as Bowlen is.
• The Dallas Cowboys are talented all around — and underperformed.
• Shanahan replaced Wade Phillips here and soon won two Super Bowls.
Jones is on the phone now to Shanahan, who will be the Cowboys’ coach in 2009.
