Accuracy will be the watchword at the second annual Wright & McGill casting championship, a feature event at The Fly Fishing Show.
This open competition, free to the public, begins with sessions Friday and Saturday afternoons; Sunday’s finals will be contested among the top 10 qualifiers. Competitors will cast to four targets at distances from 20 to 60 feet for merchandise prizes valued at $1,000.
Sign-up will be at the Wright & McGill booth, located near the front of the exhibition hall.
