DENVER—A cold front is bringing snow and plunging temperatures throughout Colorado.
The National Weather Service issued winter-weather advisories Saturday for the western mountains, where 4 to 8 inches of snow were expected.
Areas covered by the advisory include Aspen, Snowmass, Crested Butte and the Gore, Elk and Sawatch mountain ranges.
High temperatures in the Denver area and along the Front Range are expected to be in the 30s after topping out at 63 degrees Friday. The metro area could get about 2 inches of snow as the cold front passes through.
